Beautiful hands can be the pride of every person, no matter how much time he spends in the garden and vegetable garden, you just need to not be lazy and take care of your hands no less than your face.
Hands, and especially hands, are more often than other parts of the body exposed to external influences. Moreover, there is an interesting feature: by immersing our hands in water, we dehydrate them.
This happens because the moisture of the skin of the hands passes through the protective membrane of the epidermis, trying to merge with the outside water. In addition, there is a direct connection between the saturation of minerals and salts of the outside water and the degree of dehydration of the skin. Therefore, it is best to wash your hands with mild soaps.
And the very first and simple rule of hand care is to always dry your hands thoroughly after any contact with water.

* First rule: AFTER WASHING, WIP YOUR HANDS DRY!
Before work:
1. Work should only be done with gloves. For example, rubber gloves protect the skin of the hands not only from dirt, but also from dehydration.
However, there is one "but": in rubber gloves, hands sweat profusely, which also dries the skin, and the hands will become dry and hard after the gloves are removed.
In this case, when doing particularly dirty work, you need to put on cotton gloves soaked in hand cream inside the rubber ones.
2. Before working in the garden, it is useful to generously lubricate your hands with hand cream with vitamin E and put on cotton gloves on your hands that are still damp from the cream.
Before lubrication with cream, lightly scrape off a piece of dry soap so that it remains under the nails.
3. The skin has a weak acid reaction, and therefore, to maintain the acidic environment of the skin, it is useful to rinse your hands with acidified water before going to bed (1 teaspoon of table vinegar per 1 liter of water).
4. A wonderful cream is obtained from 50 g of crushed flaxseed, a handful of rose petals and 10 g of cornflower marginal flowers.
All this should be mixed and rubbed well with 2 tablespoons of freshly rendered pork fat. The cream not only softens the skin of the hands, whitens it and promotes the healing of cracks, but also protects the hands from cracks.
After work:
1. Hands should be thoroughly washed with greasy soap or washed in warm water with bran and ammonia (half a teaspoon of bran and 2 tablespoons of ammonia per 3 liters of water).
2. Washed hands can be wiped with lemon or orange peel, then smeared with nourishing cream or lotion made from egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of almond oil, and sleep in gloves.

Second rule: WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY AFTER DIRTY WORK!
* Hands become soft and white if they are washed in a decoction of oat flour or in water in which peeled potatoes were soaked. Moreover, potatoes themselves cause darkening of the skin of the hands when peeling, and to avoid this, they must be peeled with dry hands, after finishing this work, do not wash your hands immediately.
* To soften the skin and eliminate inflammation on it, you can prepare a lotion from plantain, chamomile and calendula, 1 tablespoon each, insist in 200 ml of boiling water, after cooling add 1 tablespoon of glycerin and 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Wipe your hands at least three times a day.
* When cracks appear on the skin of the hands, St. John's wort oil, prepared in the summer from 100 g of fresh St. John's wort flowers and 150 ml of hot olive oil, helps well. Store in the refrigerator, use as needed.

* Third rule: LOVE YOUR HANDS AND CARE FOR THEM, JUST AS YOU CARE FOR YOUR FACE!
Hand care for excessive sweating.
Pour 1 tbsp. of oak bark, St. John's wort, birch leaf with 500 ml of boiling water, bring to a boil, but do not boil for a long time.
Then, after cooling a little, add 1 tbsp. of vinegar and keep your hands in the bath until the decoction has completely cooled.
The procedure must be carried out regularly: 1st month – three times a week, 2nd – twice, 3rd and subsequent – once a month.
